Oriental Mirage Fantasia/Apricot Runner. Available in the following sizes:
Runner 2'8" x 8'2"Become enchanted with the
Mirage collection. Inspired by unique,
transitional designs, the combination of deep,
rich colors and
intricate patterns creates a rug of exceptional beauty and brilliance.
While most rugs are woven from top to bottom, fringe to fringe, Mirage
rugs are "cross-woven" or woven sideways, on
Wilton looms. This
technique allows for the use of up to 24 colors creating ultra fine
detail and a beautiful "abrash" effect. These subtle color variations
commonly found in handmade rugs are a direct result of cross-weaving.
Mirage's lush fringe is not added or sewn on, but is actually a
continuation of the strong backing yarn of the rug, subsequently all
Mirage rugs are hand finished. A unique drop stitch effect and
multi-point weaving add to the texture and dense pile that is
characteristic of this
100% New Zealand semi-worsted wool area rug

Mirage collection transform
everyday rooms into magical places.

Category/Decorating Tip:
Modern Classic - This collection of area rugs is rich in texture and
color. In choosing fabric let the palette of the rug be your guide.
Don't be afraid to mix patterns with them, patterns only enhance the
total look of the room. In a contemporary setting, you may want to try
adding leather or suede. Textured fabrics with a lot of surface
interesting solids or jacquard patterns would also be a good choice.
Note: Be aware that actual colors may vary from those
shown on your screen. Accent rugs may not show the entire pattern
that the corresponding area rugs have. Additionally, rugs 8' x 10' and
larger may ship Truck Freight.
